Our herd of Longhorn cattle that reside on the farm at Purity are a beautiful thoroughbred herd. These heritage beasts with their magnificent horns, the best-balanced character graze on the luscious green grass of our Warwickshire farm and feed on our finest spent grain Just like our cattle Longhorn IPA is full of character taking only the best characteristics of American and English Pale ales, combined with enticing hop aromas, sweet rye malt backbone and decisive bitterness that all balance together to produce a beer that is bred to perfection.
TASTING NOTES:
Brewed with Maris Otter, Rye, Crystal Rye and Caramalt to create a copper warming colour and hopped with Pilgrim, Chinook, Galaxy and Simcoe hops, Longhorn has both citrus and tropical fruit tones. IBU 55.
FOOD PAIRING:
This refreshing and unfiltered rye IPA is the perfect accompaniment to dirty burgers and spicy dishes.
