As our founders Paul and Jim went in search of the perfect site for their brewery to start brewing our great beers, one farm stood out from the crowd immediately with its range of real characters. Amongst the first to make themselves known was a nesting goose that went mad when protecting her territory. Everyone who arrived at the brewery and wandered off amongst the wetland system would end up running back again pretty quickly being fervently pursued by this feathered fiend. As an inspiration for tenacity and passion Purity needs look no further than our goose who never gave up the chase. Just as we never give up in our day to day pursuit of the perfect beer.
Mad Goose a zesty pale ale with a smooth and citrusy finish. Brewed with English Maris Otter, Caragold and Wheat malts, with Pilgrim bittering hops and Cascade and Willamette aroma hops with an IBU 48.
Pairs perfectly with roast chicken or pork belly.
